The holiday season has us talking about our favorite seasonal ads. While many might make us weepy (trust us, we’ll get to those), these staff favorites make us laugh. Enjoy!
Adam Says: “It’s not particularly classy, it may be offensive to some, but every time I saw this commercial, I laughed uncontrollably. For a store like Kmart that gets smaller every year, sometimes you have to step outside the box to get people to notice. I think they accomplished that with this spot.”
Melanie Says: “Brings a whole new meaning to ‘Netflix and Chill.’ The movie trailer style spot appeals to it’s core audience of movie buffs, and creatively uses the YouTube format with a ‘Behind the Scenes’ link.”
Holly Says: “I always loved the old Target Black Friday/Christmas commercials from 2010 with the crazy lady. They were hilarious and reminded me how crazy Christmas shopping can be. The spots are incredibly creative but still very simple in the messaging.”
