It’s a good thing this month’s WBP is a foodie because his plate is perpetually full. When he’s on the clock, you can find him cooking up TV spots from scratch, creating motion graphic masterpieces or cranking out rush edits. But you sure won’t find him complaining because Jose Amaya makes the role of Broadcast Director look as easy as pie.
Whether he’s coordinating a commercial shoot or recommending the best local spots for lunch, Jose is an irreplaceable member of our team. Jose seems pretty fond of us, too, although we’ve made our peace with the fact that he’ll never like us as much as his dogs.
Want to know more? Out-of-the-box thinkers like you’ll find at M2 don’t settle for the typically bland “getting to know you” questions, so we came up with these instead!
Q: What was the last thing you heard or saw that made you laugh out loud?
A: Christian, a co-worker, getting 2 bee hives and being incredibly excited about it.
Q: If you had to work on only one project next year, what would it be?
A: Definitely brand development for a sports product or company.
Q: If you could be any fictional character, who would you be?
A: Charles Xavier.
Q: What do you miss most about being a kid?
A: Having absolutely zero responsibilities.
Q: If peanut butter wasn’t called peanut butter, what would it be called?
A: Mantequilla de mani.
That’s peanut butter in Spanish, by the way. The jury’s still out on whether that answer will suffice, but since Jose pretty much rules the world this month, we’ll give it to him.
Stay tuned for April’s WBP post!
